Stuart R McRorie

Stuart R McRorie was born in 1948 in the Worcestershire village of Ombersley, and has lived in the county ever since.

He attended Queen Elizabeth I grammar school Hartlebury.

After leaving school he worked in many different jobs, including metrology engineer, estates manager and landscape gardener.

He is now retired, and he now loves nothing more than to spend his spare time on his allotment, growing prize winning sweet-peas and a wide variety of organic vegetables. He enjoys playing chess at the local drop-in chess club, in Bewdley, where he has lived with his wife for over thirty years.

He always harboured an ambition to write, but only came to do so when he was recovering from a serious illness in 2014. Having taken so long to write his first novel he is now working on his second.
