Trevor Edwards grew up on a council estate in east London in the 1960-70s. After university, he joined the RAF as a Regiment Officer and lost all of his toes to trench foot during a training exercise. He still managed to pass pilot selection and subsequently completed flying training and was posted onto the Jaguar. He left the RAF after 12 years and is currently flying big aircraft for an airline based at Heathrow.
