Following Nietzsche’s call for an unconditional love of life and an appreciation for its aesthetic value, these poems are an attempt at finding the beauty in all life has to offer, and an effort at embracing even its most painful moments.

With themes of hedonism, religion and Greek mythology, this collection is in its essence a love letter to life and fate’s barbarity.

Aïsha Abdelfatah is a philosophy student in Belgium. Having struggled with her mental health for years, reading and writing have offered a way to cope with the often harsh reality of life. Her search for an understanding and acceptance of this reality has had a large impact on her writing and the topics she explores there.
