Seren, an imaginative, curious young girl discovers a forgotten dusty journal hidden away in an attic. It details the life of Bess, a 19th Century adventurer. Through reading Bess’s journal Seren has her own dream adventures. The stories are inspired by traditional tales, myths and legends. So come on a journey that is full of magic, talking animals, giants, gods, witches, mythical beings and monsters.

Originally from Swansea, AJ Williams has enjoyed a varied career in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Social Care and Education in the UK, Botswana and New Zealand. His passion for travel, world culture, the arts and history have inspired his writings.
