Afflicted with a painful, supernatural parasite since childhood, Kyle had long since resigned himself to a life of isolation. Never did he predict that his sombre existence would so quickly ignite into a blazing flame of desire. Upon meeting Molly for the first time, Kyle is forced to confront a vulnerability he’s never felt before. Somehow, through a remarkable capability of her own, she is able to slowly bring her light into his world. Although powerful beyond comprehension, Kyle soon learns that it’s this beautiful young woman that has the most precious ability of all. Sensing the danger he poses, Kyle becomes conflicted, struggling with his incongruous nature. The more time Kyle spends with her, the more his shadow slowly dominates, successfully slipping through his restraint. As both his fear and love grow, spiralling into one another, many questions remain. Will this uncertain danger finally corrupt Kyle into the monster he dreads becoming? Can they have what they desire? Can they have each other? Although light and shadow appear polar opposites, for one to thrive, so must the other.
