Angelica was not a naughty little angel, but she did get into mischief sometimes. She loved playing with baby lambs and wanted to take one to show Baby Jesus in the stable in Bethlehem. However, she couldn’t go as an angel, so she disguised herself as a shepherd girl. This way, Angelica not only got to bring a lamb but also had the chance to sing a lullaby to Baby Jesus.

Carole has always been a storyteller from a very young age. She kept her fellow students entertained with her tales when she was in primary school in Ouyen, Victoria, Australia. Much later Carole told her stories for many years in primary schools in Canberra, ACT, Australia, and the children loved them. Later when she retired, she started writing her stories down and found that Austin Macauley Publishers liked them and so the Lulu and Skeeter books were born!
