This is a unique book with a blend of theology, biology, psychology, compassion and healthy common-sense! The author does not hold back as he honestly shares his own health challenges whilst at the same time exhibiting a strong, resilient trust in God. There are no simple answers here to some of the big challenging issues of life but there is much comfort for those who are suffering as the author points to the powerful truths of Scripture. What is clearly revealed in this book is that Dr Baldwin talks about Jesus as if he really knows Him! Bad stuff happens to all of us, but there is always hope, even in the darkest times.
As someone blessed to have Dr. Robert Baldwin as my pastor, I can confidently say his book "Be Healed, Be Whole" is an incredible resource. Dr. Baldwin combines his medical knowledge with his faith in Jesus, offering a holistic view of healing that covers physical, emotional, and spiritual health. The book is straightforward and full of practical advice, all rooted in the teachings of Jesus. Dr. Baldwin's warm and encouraging style makes it easy to understand and apply his insights to your life. It's a must-read for anyone looking to experience true healing through the power of Christ.
This is a really easy to read book on a challenging subject. Rob uses his extensive experience as a pastor and doctor to unpack this clearly and methodically and leaves you encouraged at God's healing power and our part we get to play in it. A really helpful and encouraging resource for the Church.
Reading this book is a window into something many, if not most, people fear and brings hope and comfort. A personal insight by a patient a Pastor and a Doctor. Read it and pass it on. Well written.
