Originally from the UK, Wendy Pattinson emigrated to Australia in 1999 with her husband and young family. A dermatology nurse, she also proves to be an avid storyteller, and fuelled by a life-long dream of becoming an author, her debut novel is well worth the wait. In her spare time, Wendy enjoys listening to music, reading, and walking her two dogs, Indy and Luna, who rule the house. Wendy also takes joy in interior design and likes to attend fitness classes at the beach in Fremantle, overlooking the Indian Ocean.
I really enjoyed reading "If Wishes Were Horses" by Wendy Pattinson! She connects the characters' lives well, making their experiences feel meaningful. Her writing is beautiful and easy to read, which pulls you into their stories. I appreciated the depth she gave to the characters and their emotions. This novel has many twists and turns, and I love that is set in Perth, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the story. I can't wait for the next book!

Surprising good read, a very enjoyable read with lots of twists. Especially liked the characters, a real mixed bunch that were described so well, it was like you knew them. Would definitely recommend
