Discussion with Sigrid was there are many types of relationships, but female friendships are particularly special like the women in this cafe. Ones where laughter, learning and consoling together, planning and commiserating are bonds to nurture and treasure, helping us to feel better and carrying us through the journey of life, no matter what comes, inspired her to write this poem.
