When you are young, you want to have brothers and sisters. When you are young, you want friends. What happens if you have no brothers and sisters and your best friend lives too far away? That’s what happened to Nathan.

Nathan always made his time fun on his own. He could read very well. He liked to draw and make things. He liked to play video games. He could ride his bike on his own.
But it was just not the same. He wanted a friend close by. He wanted someone to do all these things with.

Sure, dad was okay for computer games. Sure, mum was okay to read with sometimes. But what about all the other times. What about when you want to talk? What about when you want to play and just mess around? He would wish every night that he had someone that was close by, a friend.

Joanne was born in 1971 in the United Kingdom. As a child, she loved writing and sharing her stories and poems with her friends and family. Add into her life twenty-five years with her husband and soulmate as well as a global move to Australia and you have all the inspiration that you need.
