Perennia. It’s not a noun nor a verb nor an adjective. It’s not a place nor a person. It’s not a home nor a safe place. It’s not Heaven and it’s not Hell. It’s not earth. However, that doesn’t mean it isn’t alive. It’s the layer before the famous place called Hell. A union for angels and demons. Together they made Perennia. It would have lived on and on. It would have changed everything. It would have defied history. At least, it was supposed to, but angels are angels and demons are demons. War broke out, and neither side won, leaving the magical place empty and forgotten. Many, many years later, after she watched Perennia turn into chaos, Bonnie Jenkins, a forever 26-year-old woman, runs away in the middle of the night with her two kids, Thomas and Amelia, to find safety on Earth. Only two years later, Joshua Jenkins, a forever 27-year-old man, finds his missing family. After reuniting, Bonne and Joshua end up having another baby, Peggy. The family lives their lives normally in California. The parents act like they aren’t immortal. Thomas and Amelia act as if their childhood wasn’t spent in a secret dimension that regular humans don’t know about. Well, it was normal until 16-year-old Amelia is found standing over Joshua’s body with a bloody knife that only kills the unkillable.

Emily Fea has always had a love for writing and not just for books but for songs as well. She can play the guitar, piano, ukulele and bass guitar.
