A journey of a brother and sister who were abandoned by their parents and put in a care system. This seems to go well at first, until they are put forward for a foster placement, which goes downhill very quickly afterwards.

Siblings is an engrossing family saga that you won't be able to put down.

This is a very entertaining and enjoyable read. It grabbed my attention right from the start and kept me hooked all the way through. I enjoyed following the lives of the characters, both the drama and the good times, and the story left me with a real feel-good vibe. Lots of detail to sink your teeth into and the references to the shops, TV shows and feel of the time will bring back memories for some too!

A lovely heart-warming story that keeps you hooked until the end! This is the first fictional book I've read since my schooldays (80's) and it felt quite emotional at times, more so as the story developed. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

  • Barbara Manifold

An excellent first book from this author. I look forward to reading more of her work, particularly a follow up to this story.

A good story, well written, lots of detail. The characters are well developed ............ can't help liking them and starting to care about them and now I want to know how their lives proceed. Lots of scope for Sharon (the author) to go off in all sorts of directions and keep us hooked.

A big book, a long book, lots of pages, but a real page turner, hard to put down, really pulls you in. Too big and too heavy to fit into my handbag, so had to read at home, sitting comfortably, with a cup of tea, another plus!

Well, Sharon Ellery, please don't make us wait too long for the next book to be published!!

    Thank you,
    Barbara Manifold
