Sprite's Christmas Flight by Carmen Powell looks amazing. Can't wait to give it to Raphy, who is going to receive it at Christmas. My grandchild Raphy read Matthew and the Magic Goat, loved it so much and classified it with his favourites on his bookshelf. He can't wait to read about Sprite's Christmas Flight as he is so excited to know what Sprite did at Christmas and if he saw Santa! Thank you Carmen for writing beautiful and inspiring children's stories.

A charming Christmas story younger readers will love. It tells the story of a young boy called Matthew and his dog Sprite and how one Christmas Eve they would go on an unforgettable adventure.....
The writing has an ease to it and the illustrations are sweet. A wonderful story to share especially at Christmas. Or all year round if you love Christmas.

Sprite’s Christmas Flight by Carmen Powell is a most delightful tale for the under fives.
The story is told in rhyme which makes its easy to follow and to remember. It has a wonderful bouncy rhythm to it.
We see the importance of kindness, care and cooperation as a young boy and his dog help Santa out one Christmas eve.
The whole book is beautifully and simply illustrated.. Each page provides a starting point for discussions with our children as we search out Matthew and Sprite to see what they are doing. The big eyes of the characters appeal to young children as we see the friendly faces.
Sprite’s Christmas Flight is a lovely book to invest in and to read in the run up to Christmas.
I received a free copy from the publishers. A favourable review was not required. All opinions are my own.

Sprite's Christmas Flight is a fun, cute, magical, sweet, and beautiful story! This story takes place on Christmas Eve as Santa is flying across the sky. Much to his surprise one of the Reindeer hurts their leg. None of the Reindeer can stay on course with their friend hurt and Santa's sleigh comes down. Matthew and his dog Spirte see Santa's sleigh fall from the sky and run out to help. Despite his small size the hero of Christmas ends up being a four legged floppy eared dog. Sprite saves the Christmas and has an unforgettable experience while his owner Matthew gently nurses the hurt Reindeer back to health at home. This story is so cute! I love that Sprite proves the other Reindeer wrong when they voice their doubts about him. I also loved that Matthew has a prosthetic leg because it is so rare to see limb diversity in children's books!
