Cutzy grew up in Nottingham and spent 25 years working in the NHS within the Mental Health Services, on the wards of hospitals in both his home county of Nottinghamshire and neighbouring Derby as a Mental Health Nurse. He then worked for a couple of colleges within the health and social care sector. A couple of years ago, he started writing short stories, having some of his grandchildren test these out.

I've known Cutzy for many years so when I heard he'd written a book I couldn't wait to read it. Well, I can definitely say I was not disappointed. Although I'm assuming it's primarily for a younger audience for me, as an adult it took me into my childhood days and I couldn't wait to see what happened to Ben the jelly baby and all his sweet friends. I absolutely loved the illustrations and all the different sweets' names and characters.
Can't wait to read more from this author. Brilliant read
