Sabine Hargreaves was born in 1964 to German/English parents. She grew up in Germany but has lived in the UK since 1987. An airline pilot by trade, she has always had a passion for writing. In her younger years she used to make up bedtime stories for her little sister, which have helped to inspire this book. Her other passion in life is roller skating. Not growing up has helped keep her young.

My children (aged 4 & 5) and I loved reading this book. It's a great selection of stories with fantastic characters to spark children's imaginations about what happens in the Magic Meadow. The stories are all beautifully linked by the common thread of Sophia having difficulty sleeping until she closes her eyes... My children have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter each night!
