Laura Spence is a 37-year-old Scottish midwife. She has ADHD and finds the rhythm and melody of children’s rhyming stories to be calming and relaxing. Laura has three children that she loves to read to. Granny Whistle Nose was inspired by Laura’s mum, Linda. Sometimes, her nose whistles when she breathes so the children, endearingly, now call her Granny Whistle Nose. Laura has always dreamt of publishing a children’s book and has loved writing and illustrating this story. Laura hopes to inspire young readers to follow their dreams.
