Writing has been a passion for C. A. Merrill since childhood. His writings are a mixture of short stories and song lyrics which he, literally, put under his bed once they were completed. Calabash Wickerman was one such story, until it was dusted off and polished to become the first in a series of adventures he wrote about Jonas and Andy. He currently resides in Richmond, VA, with his wife, Marlene, and three adult children and six grandchildren, who all keep him inspired and on his toes. Family is at the heart of his everyday life.
