Angels have their problems. When you are the littlest and trying to find your place among a crowd of gleaming beings who have quite specific ideas of their place in the heavenly hierarchy, it can be daunting. Especially when they love to spread their wings into your space at the end of the front row in the heavenly choir. Littlest has a lot to learn but she manages. Flying is a learned skill, as is whispering, reminding and other things that angels are called on to do. But Littlest finds that she has special skills of her own that earn her the other angels’ respect and a place in the front of the choir.

The author has written throughout her life; in the kitchen at a crowded desk while watching children or between various other duties. Now retired, she has her own office space but still writes mostly in the kitchen, between tasks. It seems to work. She has published articles, poetry and two small books. This is her first children’s book to be published though there are several lingering in her computer. Children are a central concern, having six of her own and now somewhere around 18 great-grandchildren (they are still in production and the number is speculative).
