When Michael discovers that he has a three-month-old baby, his life is turned upside down. Drawn into the aristocratic world of a Bostonian family through his one-night stand’s car accident, he finds himself struggling with newfound fatherhood. As he navigates this new world, he is drawn to Chloe, the young and sexy godmother of his child, though their relationship is taboo. But perhaps all is not as it seems. Meanwhile, Beth, Michael’s sister, tries to help him with his baby issues while also dealing with her own complications, including her feelings for their mutual friend Liam. As Liam faces a management role out of town, Beth must decide if she will follow her heart or let him chase his dreams. Follow along as these characters navigate love, family, and their own personal challenges in this compelling novel.

Jo Bainbridge is a media professional that has worked with politicians through to porn stars. She was also once a contestant hopeful on a cooking show, studied marine biology (with a severe allergy to crustaceans), a chandelier cleaner and an art historian wannabe. Always one to try anything – this has led to many adventures, awkward moments and occasional conversations with overseas law enforcement.

Jo currently works on a news desk, builds LEGO with her two toddlers and aspires to be part of the slow food movement with her husband. When trying to write, she is easily distracted by a robust red wine, vegan ice-cream, Australian football league and cute dogs.

Jo has spent most of her life daydreaming and searching for romance.
