Abdus Science explores the life of Abdus Salam, a Pakistani physicist who received the 1979 Nobel Prize in Physics. Salam, born in rural colonial Punjab, rose to international prominence in theoretical physics while also dealing with politics and Pakistan's nuclear program. Despite enduring hostility toward his Ahmadiyya faith, the book delves into his personal life, including his irregular marriages and strong religious beliefs, based on comprehensive interviews done in 1984.

Maxu Masood, born in Sialkot, Punjab, has had a diverse career spanning journalism, political assistance at the Australian High Commission, and migration to Australia in 1996. His work includes co-authoring "The Khalistan Riddle," which examines Sikh separatism in India amidst significant political events. Masood's journey reflects a shift from political roles to adapting to life in Sydney, navigating challenges including racial dynamics, while continuing to contribute in various public and private sector roles.
