Author of I Stand Amazed enjoyed the success of her Book Launch. The event was held at ‘The Go-Between’ a micropub in Stockton-on-Tees. The event was a success and a raffle was held with the monies raised sent to Bloodwise UK. Personalities from Stockton attended the event namely the mayor of Stockton and Richard Drake (winner of the independent bookshop of the year north of England). Antonia enjoyed spending time with book lovers and shared her journey towards writing I Stand Amazed.

I Stand Amazed is an inspiring biography of a lovely and brave woman Dee (author’s mother). The memoirs start by Dee getting diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia – a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells. The book dives deep into the family’s war against the disease, the hopes and dreams associated with Dee and overall the spirit of true love.

Author Antonia Chapman-Jones has been a talented and devoted teacher for twelve years and now serves as Senior Leader Director of English. She is a mother of two lovely girls, Liliana and Alba. She loves teaching and spending time with her family. Antonia has a vast array of hobbies that include collaborating behind-the-scenes in a local theatre company. She is also a sportswoman and enjoys skiing, ballet and swimming. But most of all she enjoys spending time with a good book.
