Basingstoke Observer Newspaper featured a wonderful article about What’s Wrong Arty? by Linda Beckett. The article praised the efforts of the author to tackle children’s mental health with her book. The feature also shared a brief introduction of the author and her book. While sharing her inspiration with the newspaper, Linda said: “I was shocked to learn that children of primary school age were suffering from mental health issues and wanted to do something to help”.

The author Linda Beckett is an acclaimed psychologist with a degree in psychology from Open University. She is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society.  Her inspiration for writing What’s Wrong Arty? came from the tales of woodland told by her father when she was a child. Linda is highly concerned about the importance of mental health in children. She has two sons and lives in Hampshire countryside with her husband, Rob.
