J. A. Cronin’s Introspective Novel Gets Featured in Local Newspaper
The Clare Champion, a weekly Irish newspaper, recently featured author J. A. Cronin and his book, Reflections of a Catholic Altar Boy. The feature went into detail about the author’s upbringing and what motivated him to start writing about his journey to discovery.
Reflections of a Catholic Altar Boy is an enlightening look at Cronin’s personal crisis of faith. In the book, the author examines all the texts in the bible, dissecting and commenting on them one by one. J. A. Cronin was born and raised in Cork, Ireland. He graduated with a B.A. HDE at University College Cork and worked as an English teacher for over 40 years in different public schools. He is happily married and a father of four.
