Jacqueline Derbyshire Hosted a Book Reading Session at Pitter Patter Day Nursery
Jacqueline Derbyshire led a book reading session of her book, The Roadside Fairies, held at Pitter Patter Day Nursery. Little kids paid attention as Jacqueline read from her book. This session was just as refreshing for the author as it was for the kids at the nursery.
The Roadside Fairies is a fantasy tale that tells of the existence of magical creatures. The Roadside Fairies heal the forest dwellers when they get injured or sick. But the development of roads compels them to change their habitat as the vehicles’ smoke and noise are harmful to them. The younger generation of these fairies is also after acquiring the ‘Book of Elders’ to learn dark magic. Clover is responsible for protecting the sacred book. Jacqueline Derbyshire was born in Merseyside and left home at a young age to serve in social and health care. She is very fond of writing but could never begin unless 2020 happened. The lockdown blessed her with the time she needed to sit down and write. The end result is right here in front of our eyes – this interesting children’s book.
