Author of the book, ‘Claire’s Story’, Pamela Buxton was at Waterstones Rye for her book signing event. The author had a lovely morning there, signed a lot of books and talked to the audience about her book.

This book’s story is about a girl named, Claire who has had an unusual upbringing and she decides to leave her home in Edinburgh to visit her old school friend at the Vancouver Island. During the time when she is out of the home, she tries to find a good job and a rich husband which she eventually does. During the journey, she finds herself in life-risking, dangerous situations and she is on a verge of getting a life sentence. Can she defend herself or find anyone to believe her?

The author, Pamela D. Holloway has been writing since the very beginning. Her interest started to develop from essays which turned in short stories. She got married at the age of 20 and her imaginary stories for her children inspired her to write something decent. She has written a number of books now and this is her second published book up till now.
