Paul T. Mascia Featured by the Chaldean Cultural Center for 'Nazar's Journey

Paul T. Mascia was recently featured by the Chaldean Cultural Center for his book Nazar's Journey. The feature highlighted how the book explores the harrowing realities of war and includes nine expressionist paintings created specifically for it by the renowned Iraqi-American artist Qais Al-Sindy. More details are here.

Nazar's Journey is based on the life of Nazar through the horrifying of war, Nazar, a 13-year-old boy from a peaceful farm in Iraq's Nineveh Plains, leads a serene life filled with family, school, and soccer. His world is upended when radical militants invade Mosul, spreading terror throughout the region. Witnessing his people fleeing their once-safe village, Nazar is compelled to make life-changing decisions, quickly transitioning from boyhood to a journey that will test and shape his courage and selflessness.

Paul T. Mascia, a cum laude graduate of Yale University with a major in Religious Studies and a senior thesis on St. Catherine of Siena, has over thirty years of experience in insurance, specializing in long-term care and disability.
