A lovely book for young minds learning the language whilst on an adventure with likable rags Teaches concepts of finding, observing, rewarding for good behavior, and responsibility for caring for our environment. Lots of objects to describe. Rag is a curious character but very lovable. I would read this story to my grandchildren again and again. Hope for a follow-up on his walks.

Wow, what a wonderful little book. I want new grandchildren, so I can enjoy reading it to them! I'll have to borrow a toddler or two . . .

Seriously, the images are strong and delightful, packed with features that can be pointed to by small fingers, as they find the objects that Rags sniff out. Children love to hear about the adventures of pet animals and will soon find themselves discovering, along with the puppy, a whole range of different concepts: colors, positions, small creatures, and shapes. Anyone reading this book will find lots of variety to focus on to amuse small children, as well as things that provide potentially useful talking points, like friends, road safety, litter, and toileting.

The book is so lively and full of fun that any new learning will just feel like an exciting but familiar story to the little ones. I can see it becoming a firm favorite for story-time.

This is a lovely book for preschool children to learn about the world and their place in it.
Rags immediately endear himself to readers young and old as he explores his puppy world, sniffs out its excitement and discovers its dangers.
As children explore and follow Rags on his walks they can develop elements of speech and learn about the environment and how we can all help to look after it.
The simplicity and repetition of the text will help to reinforce the understanding of key aspects.
I think this book will be a colorful, much-loved addition to the bookcase.

I loved this story about the inquisitive puppy Rags. He takes us on an adventure in which we meet his friends and learn about the world and our local environment.
The language in the book has a lovely rhythm and is great for reading out loud. Children will have so much fun finding Rags’ toys and friends in the beautiful illustrations, not to mention spotting the litter. There are so many lessons about life and care for our environment in this story, how to navigate our way through scary situations and come out the other side. I loved it!

Loved reading this upbeat story about a Rags' walks and finds. Love the verse style and chorus style of Good boy and sniff sniff sniff. Children and parents can enjoy such positive praise and parents understand situations from a child/pup perspective. Love the illustrations and all the characters and of course all the finds. A lovely story that can be read over and over again.

A wonderful book and a pleasure to read with a child.
The illustrations and graphics are vibrant and colorful, engaging the child to join Rags on his walking adventures.
The storytelling supports the child to develop their educational needs as they follow Rags on his walks of discovery.
Learning is fun within this book encouraging the child to be aware of their environment and understand the difference between danger and safety. A good talking point for the reader and child.
    Marvellous.
