Kim Hiles

Kim Hiles enjoys writing about her journey of self-discovery. She is the author of PE for the Soul, Walks with Strays, and co-authored Little Wonders. Her debut book of poetry published by Austin Macauley Publishers, Moments as They Come, offers solace and understanding for those experiencing the empty nest transition. Her second book of poetry, As the Dust Settles, is about what comes next and offers hope and new beginnings. Kim’s books touch on various themes such as addiction, depression, anxiety, career, and animals as healers, to name a few. Kim’s story is one of struggle and self-compassion that leads to abundant self-awareness and personal growth. Her memoir is shared with enjoyable poetic expression in short story format. As an educator for 20 years, Kim has worked with both children and adults teaching social & emotional learning, physical education, as well as behavioral coaching.
