John Neale was a successful business person throughout his life whilst also playing sport at a high level, including rugby league and tennis. After managing their family hotel for two years, he entered the IT industry and achieved a competence level which saw him working for the leading companies of the day.
A fork in the road saw he and his wife leave Australia to live overseas on a Greek island, then London and then to live aboard their yacht in various countries in Europe. During this time of residence in many countries and sailing adventures, John became a watercolour artist and sold many of these paintings. After a four-year successful odyssey, he returned home to continue a very full life.
