William (Bill) Ashcroft is a physical sciences graduate with 40 years’ experience of laboratory research as well as in technical service and management in pharma and polymer chemical manufacturing. Bill is a widely published technical author and has also written for new graduates at the beginning of their careers on subject matters essential to personal professional development. More recently he has turned to fiction, with a first novel, a thriller where natural disasters and human greed collide to threaten the global food chain. He lives in Leeds with his wife.
