João Borges da Cunha was born in 1973, in Lisbon, Portugal, where he has been based ever since. He has written fiction, poetry and drama, for which he was awarded a literary prize by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. He holds a degree in architecture, which he also teaches at the university level. He’s a scholar of culture. This is his first original, entirely written in English. He is a ‘Mary-Jane-Kellyist’. Not a ‘Ripperologist’.
